Terms and Conditions of Use
Last updated: November 2026
By accessing or using this website (cabowebsites.com), operated by Cabo Websites, operated by Santiago Tangassi from Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, Mexico, you fully accept the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any of them, please do not use the site. These terms govern exclusively the use of this website as an informational showcase; they do not, on their own, constitute a professional services contract, which — where a project is contracted — is governed by the specific agreement reached with each client.
1. Purpose and acceptance
The sole purpose of this site is to present the work, services and contact information of Cabo Websites, operated by Santiago Tangassi ("Cabo Websites"), a web design and development studio based in Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, Mexico. Using the site — browsing it, reading its content or contacting us through it — implies acceptance of these terms as they stand at the time of your visit.
If you contract a project or service with us, the specific commercial terms of that project (scope, deliverables, timelines, payment terms) are agreed independently and in writing between the parties, and prevail over this document as far as that contractual relationship is concerned. This document governs only the use of the website itself.
2. Permitted use of the site
You may browse the site freely, review the projects shown, read the services offered and contact us through the enabled channels (currently WhatsApp) for legitimate purposes of enquiry, quotation or contracting our services.
3. Prohibited use of the site
You agree not to use this site to: attempt to breach, scan or test without authorisation the security of the site or the infrastructure hosting it; distribute viruses, malware or any harmful code; extract the site's content in a mass and automated way (scraping) for commercial purposes other than your consultation as a visitor; impersonate another person or entity; send unsolicited communications (spam) through our contact channels; or carry out any activity that is unlawful under applicable Mexican legislation.
We reserve the right to restrict access to the site, without prior notice, to anyone we detect engaging in any of these behaviours.
4. Informational nature of the content
The content of this site — including case studies, screenshots, service descriptions and any figure or price range that may be mentioned — is for informational and portfolio purposes. It does not constitute a binding offer nor a guarantee of specific results for your own project: every job is quoted and executed individually according to each client's needs.
The projects shown in the work section reflect real deliveries for real clients; however, business metrics or subjective perceptions about the outcome of each project are not guaranteed and are not automatically transferable to a future project.
5. Intellectual property
The visual design, information architecture, the copy written by us and the source code that makes up this site are the property of Cabo Websites, operated by Santiago Tangassi, unless expressly stated otherwise, and are protected by Mexican copyright and industrial property legislation.
The trademarks, logos, trade names, product photography and client websites shown in the work section are presented solely as reference and evidence of commissioned work. They are the property of their respective owners, and their display on this site does not imply affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement beyond the service relationship we had or have with each client. If a client requests removal of their case from this showcase, we will honour that request.
Nothing in these terms grants you a licence to reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from the content of this site for purposes other than your personal consultation, except with express written authorisation.
6. Links to third-party sites
This site includes links to our clients' live sites, to third-party platforms (such as WhatsApp) and, occasionally, to social networks. We do not operate or control those third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, privacy policies or security practices. Accessing them from our site is at your own discretion and risk.
7. Limitation of liability and warranties
We aim for the information published on this site to be complete, current and error-free, but the site is offered "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, currency or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cabo Websites, operated by Santiago Tangassi will not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, this site, including technical failures, service interruptions, or decisions you make based on the information published here.
8. Service availability
We do not guarantee that the site will be available uninterrupted or error-free at all times. There may be periods of maintenance, updates or downtime for reasons beyond our control (for example, from the hosting provider). The availability of this website should not be confused with the delivery timelines of a contracted project, which are governed by the specific agreement for each service.
9. Languages of this site
This site is published in Spanish and English. The English version is offered as a courtesy and to make reading easier for English-speaking visitors. In the event of any discrepancy, contradiction or doubt of interpretation between the two versions of this document, the Privacy Notice or the Cookie Policy, the Spanish version will always prevail, as it is the language in which they are issued under applicable Mexican law.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time to reflect changes to the site, our services or applicable legislation. The version in force will always be the one published on this page, identified by its last-updated date. Continued use of the site after an update implies your acceptance of the revised terms.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are interpreted and governed under the federal laws of the United Mexican States and the laws of the state of Baja California Sur. For any dispute relating to the use of this site that cannot be resolved amicably, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Baja California Sur, Mexico, waiving any other jurisdiction that might correspond to them by reason of their present or future domicile.
